The office "João Brandão . Margarida Gomes, Arquitectos, Lda.", also known as JBMG Arquitectos, was set up in 1998, has dedicated its activity to the carrying out of studies and projects in the area of technical services specializing in Architecture, Design and Technical Consultancy in the field of civil construction. The code of practice of the office is based upon constant research, study and the proposing of solutions that guarantee a coherent, efficient and specific response to the demands and needs of present-day society in general and of clients in particular, paying special attention to the way in which these solutions are integrated into the well-being of the environment. The philosophy and integration of the activity is founded upon permanent raising of cognizance and awareness to the underlying aspects of the project, such as quality of the construction and expertise allied with aesthetic solutions used on-site and with the importance that these things play in the well-being and framework of the surroundings. This architectural identity is symptomatically reflected in its own space and form and in its integration into the place and the territory. Sadly, these are things that nowadays are becoming more and more out of context.
A Team with quality and expertise
The office, in its projectual approach and the personalized service given, seeks to reflect, above all, the intentions, ideas and wishes of each client, helping him with and clarifying the solutions proposed. With the aim of fomenting a solid and enriched integration of staff, the working environment at JBMG Arquitectos is based upon an open space plan, allowing all to participate in interactive communication. The office has the most modern technical equipment as well as specific IT applications for the development and efficient presentation of projects within its field of activity. In certain areas, and whenever the project demands, the office also has a team of regular staff available who are specialized in the most diverse fields and who form interactive and homogenous work groups capable of corresponding with total application and efficiency in any project.

From July 1996 to July 1998, she collaborated with the Tirone Nunes Urbanismo Lda studio, where she took part in a number of projects in the field of bio-climatic architecture.
In 1998 she set up the office João Brandão.Margarida Gomes, Arquitectos, Lda. , in partnership with João Brandão and, since then, she has been developing projects in the most diverse areas.

In 1993, he collaborated with E.P.U.L. (Empresa Pública de Urbanização de Lisboa) on the "Ideas for Expo 98 Project" and from July 1994 to November 1998 he collaborated with the Tirone Nunes Urbanismo Lda studio, where he took part in a number of projects in the field of bio-climatic architecture.
In 1998 he set up the office João Brandão.Margarida Gomes, Arquitectos, Lda. , in partnership with Margarida Gomes and, since then, he has been developing projects in the most diverse areas.
