Begun in July 2011, the construction works of the undertaking Monte Sintra - Premium Residences, Hotel & Services in Monte Santos is a luxury complex with unique features in the Sintra council. Despite the hilly terrain and the environmental care a sensitive area like this requires, the works are progressing in a good rhythm and their conclusion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2012.

This is a reference project in our studio, started in 2004, which consisted - in addition to the town planning project - of the development of architectural projects for each of the 30 houses, the hotel and the commercial building.

Located near the historic centre of Sintra - World Heritage, the project was given the greatest of care in its design so as to ensure its better integration into the site. Making use of the topography, the buildings blend naturally into the landscape and the use of garden roofs and copper, wood and stone walls in the project increases the ecological and sustained character of the intervention.
