The operation seeks to redefine the land from the main façade of the existing building - to be safeguarded owing to the predominant identifying characteristics in the historical centre and its homogeneity, interacting with the locality and the countryside extending to the north. The previous out-of-keeping 'improvements' were demolished and the new building, overcoming a drop of almost 10 metres between streets, comes into keeping with its contiguous buildings and façades.
