The Office

The office "João Brandão . Margarida Gomes, Arquitectos, Lda.", set up in 1998, has dedicated its activity to the carrying out of studies and projects in the area of technical services specializing in Architecture, Design and Technical Consultancy in the field of civil construction.

The code of practice of the office is based upon constant research, study and the proposing of solutions that guarantee a coherent, efficient and specific response to the demands and needs of present-day society in general and of clients in particular, paying special attention to the way in which these solutions are integrated into the well-being of the environment.

The philosophy and integration of the activity is founded upon permanent raising of cognizance and awareness to the underlying aspects of the project, such as quality of the construction and expertise allied with aesthetic solutions used on-site and with the importance that these things play in the well-being and framework of the surroundings.

This architectural identity is symptomatically reflected in its own space and form and in its integration into the place and the territory. Sadly, these are things that nowadays are becoming more and more out of context.

The office, in its projectual approach and the personalized service given, seeks to reflect, above all, the intentions, ideas and wishes of each client, helping him with and clarifying the solutions proposed.
